The pen is mightier than the sword; writing to promote your website

Posted on Sunday 4th November 2007 by Simon Bell. Hits: 3617

Goal: Your website to appear at the top of Google search engine for your selected keywords.

How you are going to achieve this goal: pay for advertising... or just write an article?

One of the best methods of increasing relevant visitors to your website is to write an article about something that relates to the content of your site. For example: a website that offers assistance to computer related problems may write an article about their user's most common problem; "What program should I use to open a file with the file extension .rar?" This article can then be published to an article website to promote the site. The article submission is free and the publicity received from the website is also free. When prospective visitors search for "which program to use to open .rar files" they will be presented with your article. The article contains a link which then directs the visitor to the computer related problems website.

This article has done just that; you are reading this article because you searched for ways to promote your website. This article describes and explains how to promote your website via article submission.
